Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role was Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School, before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed as a theatre actor in the Chicago area for several years, before attempting her hand at television as well as film roles. In 1992, Anna landed her first big character in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, Anna was a frequent guest on TV and in films including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. Skyler was the character she played in Breaking Bad. Sully was also one of her roles. Gunn took the stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part podcast of audio plays called Numbered Days. The story of Breaking Bad is driven by the relationship with Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The decline of their relationship is in line with Walter White's last days.
