Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, popularly referred to by the name Ashanti was born on October 13, 1981 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a singer, songwriter from America and actor. Ashanti was first discovered when she was an 18-year-old and was became signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. That same year, she was featured on Fat Joe's What's Luv? Both Fat Joe's What's Luv? The first female artist to have the first and second spots on the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at number one and the track What's Luv? at number two. Let's celebrate this momentous occasion with us. Ashanti Douglas, also known as Ashanti as she is more often referred to was born in Glen Cove New York in the year 1980. Tina Douglas, her mother is a former dance teacher. Ken-Kaide Douglas is her father. Kenashia Schia is Douglas's younger sister, is older. On the 16th of October Hey Baby (After the Club) was released on stations and digital platforms. The actress starred in the movie Christmas in the City and played Latasha Montclair in Army Wives. Aitch was one of the British musician, sampled her track Rock wit U for Baby on the 10th of March in 2022.
