Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1997 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora often stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is a Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 and received great reviews from music blogs as well as the media. The singer has released a number of high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have been widely praised. Katy Perry's praise for her song Runaway on her blog gave the artist some additional recognition. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard in her loft, and becoming intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to use music for personal growth, rather than to earn money or to pursue as a hobby. The Aksnes family encouraged her to compose. In addition to Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. Responding to her mother's suggestion that her children ought not to aim to be famous through her songwriting, but instead be aware of the significance of them as well as their contribution to society. She began playing the piano at the age of six, and began writing music at age nine. Family members didn't even have any idea about it until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora was not a goal. Aurora claims she loves writing songs. To her, music is the most efficient way to express anything.
